There are a ton of very useful items in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Some of them help heal you, others make you stronger. And some are the key to beating the many unique, interesting, and extremely tough boss battles within the game. This last one if the significance of Divine Confetti, a particularly rare item, but also one that you’ll need deep within the game. To help out here’s where to get Divine Confetti in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Before we get too deep into that though, what does Divine Confetti even do? It’s one of those items in Sekiro that isn’t useful all the time, but when you need it, you need it very badly. It allows you to deal much more damage against ghost-like enemies and dispel any magical effects they have cast, which includes Headless and the Corrupted Monk in Mibu Village.
Where to Get Divine Confetti
In all likelihood, you’ll find most of the Divine Confetti within the game just by playing through the main quest and any side quests you discover. Seeking it out will become important, but if you’re just trying to take on Headless, then you probably can just keep playing for awhile and note when you pick up one or two sets of this valuable item. Still, you might have missed them, so here’s all the locations we’ve found so far.
The first is actually right near Headless, on the way to him from Ashina Outskirts. It is found near the broken bridge close to the Samurai General Naomori Kawarada. From there head further along the path and turn left to see a set of small statues. Mixed in among them is an item package with Divine Confetti inside.
If you’ve made it into Hirata Castle then there may be some Divine Confetti waiting for you. I say “may” because while it’s not a definite drop on the map, some enemies inside do have a small chance of dropping them as loot. These are the blue samurai at the top of Ashina Castle. They’re a tougher fight than most random enemies, but there’s a lot of stealth opportunities and a Sculptor’s Idol, called Upper Tower – Antechamber, right near them, so it’s easy to warp in, kill a few, then Rest and try again.
From there you’ll likely move on to Hirata Estate. Supposedly there is one near the Hirata Audience Chamber behind a hidden wall, though I’ve yet to locate it myself. You’ll get one before and one after fighting Juzou the Drunkard. Before you get to him, one is found in the longer building that’s not ablaze with fire. Archers stand out front, so take them out then grapple to the roof and follow it to the end. Drop down and turn around then use the opening under the building to get inside and find the item, but watch for the enemy nearby. Divine Confetti is in there, past a few enemies you’ll need to take out. After you beat him just head into the large building nearby and roam around. In one of the back rooms is some Divine Confetti.
The only other spot we know of currently is in the Sunken Valley, a late game area you might not have encountered (see how to get to Sunken Valley here). Continue through that area until you reach the Gun Fort Sculptor’s Idol location. Now, this is probably one of the harder pieces of Divine Confetti to find, because you’ll need to fight a Long-arm Centipede Giraffe. Once you defeat him go through the hole nearby and stick to the left until you run into a huge chasm. Above you is a grapple point you can use, then just grapple to the next platform above and the next after that. Go left and climb onto the plateau to find another piece of Divine Confetti.
So far that’s all the places where to get Divine Confetti in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice that we’re aware of. If you spot some be sure to share it in the comments below.
